Printing

At Carton Solutions we have intimate knowledge of the entire corrugated flute range, from micro flute to double flutes, as well as their kraft and recycled fibre make-up. We understand how white paper holds ink versus kraft paper, and the best process for printing on each.

Flexographic Printing

Flexographic (often abbreviated to flexo) is a printing process that uses a flexible relief plate. It is essentially a modern version of letterpress which can be used for printing on almost any type of substrate, including plastic, metallic films, cellophane, and paper. The best results are achieved by using stylised images or vector illustrations and bold designs.

Litho Lamination

Litho lamination combines the strengths of corrugated board and a high quality print finish. The process involves a lithographic printed sheet known as a label being laminated to single face or corrugated board.

Offset Printing

Retail ready packaging often requires the impact of full colour, photo-finish print quality, achieved with offset (otherwise known as lithographic) printing. Applications include cartonboard and litho-laminated board used for boxes, trays and point of sale displays. Offset printing enables the use of PMS colours combined with gloss or matt varnishes and celloglazes, to give your product the ultimate visual appeal.
